About Lydia Gokey

Lydia Gokey is a multidisciplinary artist, focusing on painting, ceramics, sculpture, and vocal performance. She is a current student at The Ohio State University, working on her MA in Art Education and having her BA in Art Management.

Lydia graduated from Toledo School for the Arts in 2021, with a focus in fashion design and technical theatre. At TSA, she earned her diploma with high honors, as well as a technical certificate in technical theatre.

Lydia uses her experiences from chronic illnesses to inspire much of her work, but does not limit herself to that. She explores with multiple mediums with objects around her, aiming to create pieces of art that are available to a casual arts consumer.
